Fini + Marina – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I enjoyed a (mostly) non-working weekend and eager to jump into this busy week! I’m excited for my shoots the other day & this week, but want to squeeze in this blog post before I head out!

Fini & Marina met while they’re in high school more than ages ago, a very long time relation that last till this marriage. Their wedding was filled with so many personalised details that truly reflect their personalities. All I heard around the room was how much fun their wedding was and how it was so them… just how a wedding should be!

Congrats you two an a beautiful marriage. May your lives be filled with more adventures together!

Azizi + Nini – Ayer Hitam Wedding Photography

If you ever come across a cute couple in my blog, you need to look at this one closer. The most adorable couple award I give to them. Azizi & Nini are meant to be together. They are amazingly cute together. So cute that I could not narrow down their wedding photos and will have to post the entire ceremony and drag them to 2 portraiture session. They brought their traditional Malay outfit, Songket, which they customed ordered in Bandung a month before their big day. I love how it fit them very well! And I just love love love this last photo. They remind me of two lovebirds. Weather was great that day that kept me shooting all day long.

Anyway, awesome decoration for Pelamin & Photo booth made by Dedau Bridal. Make up done nicely by Ratu Bridal House.

Madihah + Zaidi – Ledang Wedding Photographer

This was such a sweet session. Sweet couple. Sweet setting. I am so at peace when I look at this series. It was seriously hard to narrow down the photos for this post!! Madihah & Zaidi met back in high school, but shy to say that there are meant to be together. After years of knowing each other, Zaidi finally decided to put a ring on Madihah’s finger. Their parents house is just few miles away from each other. That what makes more interesting about them. They event was held at Madihah’s house at Gresik, Ledang. The solemnisation was small & intimate with close relatives from both side coming to celebrate their biggest day. It was so cheerful while some parts you can see a little tears upon their eyes.

After the ceremony, I bring them to a very nice beach just half an hour from their place. The weather was just great for an intimate portraiture session. We spent few hours on the beach with the help of no wind at all. lol.

On the next day, their parents have organize a huge ceremony and invite all the relatives from local, also not to forget from the northern, Kedah & Penang. All family members got the chance to celebrate their happiness and take some photos for memories. The food was just great. I had 2 pcs of ketupat with chicken rendang. Been a while since I see dishes like that. The ceremony ended late afternoon. We went to Sawah Ring, a very beautiful paddy field in this area. The heat makes me looks like coming out of the rain. But I love this kind of weather since I can get the best color of the bride & groom and also all the surrounding. We wrap the session at 6.30pm. It was tiring but worth the while after viewing all these photos.

Congrats you two on the perfect wedding for the perfect marriage!

The busy life of an explorer

20131028-085833.jpg

Lets see how far can I carry this job. I love seeing the world I never be before, I love to drive long distance, I love the rules I can just wear short pants & round neck tshirt to a meeting, I love to communicate with an english guys with New Zealand ascent which I hardly understand. I love to go for another adventure every day. I love the fact that I can enter just any private property area and not get caught. I love when I finds an huge empty grass field that I can listen to the sounds of breeze hitting the grass. I love the productions manager who lead this team politely giving me compliments like Hugh Grant acting in Notting Hill. I litterary love the two tone of my skin tanned every day.

But the thing is, I have very limited time with my family. I’m fully occupied the whole week and going to be busy on the weekend for weddings. I have abandonded my blog for almost 3 weeks. I hate I couldn’t find my socks every morning. I skip lunch most of the days. OK I lied, I only skip twice. I hate when I have to drive 1 1/2hrs to the studio and suddenly the meeting was cancelled and this guy told me “this is what I told you when we welcome you to the movie business earlier the crazy parts always come to your way”. Hopefully not today.

So lets see how far can I go.

Azmi & Hana – Mabul Island Destination Wedding

Something trigger me out when Azmi text me yesterday asking for location that I posted on instagram, oh god I didn’t post Azmi & Hanna portraiture in Mabul with their wedding dress just yet! Guilt comes into my nerves. Lol. Remember the love shoot I share on this blog about 2 months ago? So here are few more shoots from another session we had. Azmi & Hanna bring wardrobe styling and setthat they borrow from their wedding planner. A dusty pink wedding dress, that fits them very well. We spent the whole morning around the island having fun with the sun & beach. I couldn’t be happier shooting this portraiture session for such a deserving couple! Aren’t they just the cutest? Mabul is a very small island that you can circle in just half an hour. They’re really one of the sweetest people I’ve met and I’m so happy to have met them, and capture their story for them.

Amalina & Nasriqul – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Amalina & Nasriqul were both final year of a medical student from UIA. There were planning for this marriage since third year. In fact, they’re having an exam right after this event. I don’t know how they manage to do that! They’re both young and always happy couple that makes so fun photographing them. The event held in Taman Peserai, Batu Pahat, Johor attended by close relative & thousands other friends of her father who is a great teacher in this town. I even met lots of my teacher from high school at this wedding.

The weather was great all day until late afternoon. I’m glad that I manage to get to the place I wanted to in time. It was a little late for a portraiture session but I able to get few great shots after all. The beach was about 30km from bride’s place and just few more minutes to Muar. I have been here 3 times for portraiture but still haven’t discovered all the wonder just yet. Planning to come again with my family sometimes later.

Oh please enjoy your weekend while browsing these pictures.

Melaka with Heroes

…and here we are again. Melaka. When I came back from Tioman last week, I have an unpleasant surprise new to hear, my brother had a complication while having his bypass heart surgery at IJN in critical conditions. I was on my way to Melaka at that moment for another portraiture with all my great friends. I decided to go back home and pack, rush to KL. We spent few days in KL giving moral support to my brother’s family, which I believe has been through so much for the rest of the months. He has to stay in ICU unit for few more days until the entire supporting device taken off.

So we went back home after pretty sure he is in stable condition. On our back, we visited Melaka for few hours. It was quite late when we arrived. Amsyar enjoy Cendol Clock Tower so much. Adik Kimi had much fun running here and there. I have thousands of unprocessed raw photos of our travel but haven’t gotten the right time to share. So this is just one of dozens other trip I share. Hope you guys don’t get bored of what I share. 🙂

Aidil + Sara – Tioman Island Destination Photography

I missed the chances to documents Sara & Aidil most beautiful moment of their wedding. That’s was one of most frustrating things I did this year. But after all, I have the chances to bring them along to Tioman Island for a honeymoon. We spent wonderful 3 days at Salang Beach with full of joy. They’re playful, romantic, and so happy in love. I made flower crown out of flower vine and a hand bouquet for Sara to hold. It wasn’t that pretty but when Sara had it on her hands & head, it looks wonderful on her! I love how they laugh together and how much they adore each other. I am so glad that I bring along bunch of companions to this session. They make Sara & Aidil laugh a lot and also make them tired. Lol. Great to have you guys. I’ll make sure we’ll set another interesting trip to some other great places. I only bring a single lens for this whole trip which is 85mm that makes a very limited crop for all these photos. Hope you guys enjoy it.

If any of you guys planning for a honeymoon and would like an intimate photography for your memory, drop me an email. 🙂

Shamsul & Nabila – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Meet Shamsul and Nabila We started the day seeing some prettiness in the form of some Christy Ng heels, and a beautiful full length lace trimmed veil and those gorgeous long dress. I’ve always most loved those photos that capture in between instances. You know, the ones that people don’t seem to notice, or realize were taken. Nabila always busy with many things, her phone, her friends, and family. I just don’t have much time to photograph her in person. Most of the photos in here consists her & everybody else. We have another photography session at the beach but I’ll keep the photos just for her viewing since that photos were really intimate with her husband & closed friends.

Nabila & Shamsul, thank you SO much for letting me be a part of this journey.. not just as your photographer, but also your friend. I hope you find a room for these images in your heart, and I hope they bring back a little slice of joy in the years to come if you ever take a walk down memory lane.

Faridah & Norman – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

I’m in the midst of a super crazy period at Foto by Razali so time of any kind is very very exceptional… Yet I didn’t want this week to fly by without sharing with you this little and sweet wedding I shot one weekend where the weather was nearly perfect, the air was sweet with the lingering flavor of love, and where we could catch the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks in the distance while Faridah and Norman promised their love story amidst ear-to-ear smiles, and sworn each other their futures and hearts in front of their closest family and friend. I have to confess, small intimate weddings, where the couple is deeply in love, have a very soft spot in my heart. I sincerely believe that when you are surrounded ONLY by those precious to you, the day becomes so much more special, more enjoyable, more relaxed. And it shows in the photos 100%. It was a glorious afternoon and one where I was so lucky to have witnessed and be a part of. Thank you Faridah and Norman for your trust in me that day!! I hope you look back at these photos and are reminded every time how deeply special your love is to one another.

The wedding of Faridah & Norman was held in Parit Haji Ali, Batu Pahat. Make up, dress & dais done nicely by Firmah Bridal house Parit Raja.

Aishah & Roy Reception – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Wow… has this week started off on a crazy note?? I am still trying to catch my breath on my chair… everyone… design, post production, family, and everything have all been busy as anything! And as the only guy in this craziness, I’m hiding in the corner feeling a little overwhelmed.

Anyways, getting back to the photographs 🙂 Have I said how much i LOVE brides & grooms who not just dare to be unusual, but do it in STYLE. I mean, we all know that it’s easy to be different, but to keep it classic, stylish, and have that timeless effect? That’s not as easy a task. But when I saw Aishah and Roy turn up to their solemnization shoot in a different way oh dear, I have such a thousands of idea coming in. They look soooooo good in photos!!, I was just obsessed. It just goes to show, a shoot can still be elegantly simple with the right pieces to stand out.

This wedding was held in Batu Pahat. And all those portrait photos were taken around Batu Pahat & Kluang. Thank you sooooooooo much to the both of you for being so bold and going for something out of the box, and then trusting in me when I said you looked amazing with the little hints of get in the middle of the road. You both looked astonishing. My camera couldn’t love you enough that day!!

Those family member that make the event so fantastic, thank you so much. For her only brother that watch them all 3 days session, I could thank Sudin enough. Just make sure we plan for another trip. Lol.

Do enjoy this love soundtrack from Juno movie.

Raudha & Hafiz – Kota Tinggi Wedding Photographer

I’m here to share with you, a really special day that I got to step into, dips in, and preserve eternally in images. And more significantly, share about just how beautiful these two souls are. People think I say this about every couple, but these two have seriously left a footprint on my heart. They inspire me with their love story that I heard from their family and how their mother make them fall in love, they inspire me with their incredible humbleness, and just by witnessing their lives, family and friends for a day I have been impressed by their honest love and kindness towards those around them.

Raudha & Hafiz. What can I say? I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to tell the story of your big day. I hope these photos do some sort of justice and treasure a small place in your heart to treasure for the rest of your days. This ceremony held in a very calm little town, Felda Linggiu, Kota Tinggi. My very first client came from here as well. I’ve been shooting here for five time including this one. I found a very unique landscape area for an outdoor portraiture around this area. We spent about two hours wandering & having fun after the rain. It was so intimate looking how closed Raudha & Hafiz are.

Thank you for letting us be a part of something so special between you both. You two are the luckiest, to have found each other.
