Amalina & Nasriqul – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Amalina & Nasriqul were both final year of a medical student from UIA. There were planning for this marriage since third year. In fact, they’re having an exam right after this event. I don’t know how they manage to do that! They’re both young and always happy couple that makes so fun photographing them. The event held in Taman Peserai, Batu Pahat, Johor attended by close relative & thousands other friends of her father who is a great teacher in this town. I even met lots of my teacher from high school at this wedding.

The weather was great all day until late afternoon. I’m glad that I manage to get to the place I wanted to in time. It was a little late for a portraiture session but I able to get few great shots after all. The beach was about 30km from bride’s place and just few more minutes to Muar. I have been here 3 times for portraiture but still haven’t discovered all the wonder just yet. Planning to come again with my family sometimes later.

Oh please enjoy your weekend while browsing these pictures.

Melaka with Heroes

…and here we are again. Melaka. When I came back from Tioman last week, I have an unpleasant surprise new to hear, my brother had a complication while having his bypass heart surgery at IJN in critical conditions. I was on my way to Melaka at that moment for another portraiture with all my great friends. I decided to go back home and pack, rush to KL. We spent few days in KL giving moral support to my brother’s family, which I believe has been through so much for the rest of the months. He has to stay in ICU unit for few more days until the entire supporting device taken off.

So we went back home after pretty sure he is in stable condition. On our back, we visited Melaka for few hours. It was quite late when we arrived. Amsyar enjoy Cendol Clock Tower so much. Adik Kimi had much fun running here and there. I have thousands of unprocessed raw photos of our travel but haven’t gotten the right time to share. So this is just one of dozens other trip I share. Hope you guys don’t get bored of what I share. 🙂

Aidil + Sara – Tioman Island Destination Photography

I missed the chances to documents Sara & Aidil most beautiful moment of their wedding. That’s was one of most frustrating things I did this year. But after all, I have the chances to bring them along to Tioman Island for a honeymoon. We spent wonderful 3 days at Salang Beach with full of joy. They’re playful, romantic, and so happy in love. I made flower crown out of flower vine and a hand bouquet for Sara to hold. It wasn’t that pretty but when Sara had it on her hands & head, it looks wonderful on her! I love how they laugh together and how much they adore each other. I am so glad that I bring along bunch of companions to this session. They make Sara & Aidil laugh a lot and also make them tired. Lol. Great to have you guys. I’ll make sure we’ll set another interesting trip to some other great places. I only bring a single lens for this whole trip which is 85mm that makes a very limited crop for all these photos. Hope you guys enjoy it.

If any of you guys planning for a honeymoon and would like an intimate photography for your memory, drop me an email. 🙂

Shamsul & Nabila – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Meet Shamsul and Nabila We started the day seeing some prettiness in the form of some Christy Ng heels, and a beautiful full length lace trimmed veil and those gorgeous long dress. I’ve always most loved those photos that capture in between instances. You know, the ones that people don’t seem to notice, or realize were taken. Nabila always busy with many things, her phone, her friends, and family. I just don’t have much time to photograph her in person. Most of the photos in here consists her & everybody else. We have another photography session at the beach but I’ll keep the photos just for her viewing since that photos were really intimate with her husband & closed friends.

Nabila & Shamsul, thank you SO much for letting me be a part of this journey.. not just as your photographer, but also your friend. I hope you find a room for these images in your heart, and I hope they bring back a little slice of joy in the years to come if you ever take a walk down memory lane.

Faridah & Norman – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

I’m in the midst of a super crazy period at Foto by Razali so time of any kind is very very exceptional… Yet I didn’t want this week to fly by without sharing with you this little and sweet wedding I shot one weekend where the weather was nearly perfect, the air was sweet with the lingering flavor of love, and where we could catch the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks in the distance while Faridah and Norman promised their love story amidst ear-to-ear smiles, and sworn each other their futures and hearts in front of their closest family and friend. I have to confess, small intimate weddings, where the couple is deeply in love, have a very soft spot in my heart. I sincerely believe that when you are surrounded ONLY by those precious to you, the day becomes so much more special, more enjoyable, more relaxed. And it shows in the photos 100%. It was a glorious afternoon and one where I was so lucky to have witnessed and be a part of. Thank you Faridah and Norman for your trust in me that day!! I hope you look back at these photos and are reminded every time how deeply special your love is to one another.

The wedding of Faridah & Norman was held in Parit Haji Ali, Batu Pahat. Make up, dress & dais done nicely by Firmah Bridal house Parit Raja.

Aishah & Roy Reception – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Wow… has this week started off on a crazy note?? I am still trying to catch my breath on my chair… everyone… design, post production, family, and everything have all been busy as anything! And as the only guy in this craziness, I’m hiding in the corner feeling a little overwhelmed.

Anyways, getting back to the photographs 🙂 Have I said how much i LOVE brides & grooms who not just dare to be unusual, but do it in STYLE. I mean, we all know that it’s easy to be different, but to keep it classic, stylish, and have that timeless effect? That’s not as easy a task. But when I saw Aishah and Roy turn up to their solemnization shoot in a different way oh dear, I have such a thousands of idea coming in. They look soooooo good in photos!!, I was just obsessed. It just goes to show, a shoot can still be elegantly simple with the right pieces to stand out.

This wedding was held in Batu Pahat. And all those portrait photos were taken around Batu Pahat & Kluang. Thank you sooooooooo much to the both of you for being so bold and going for something out of the box, and then trusting in me when I said you looked amazing with the little hints of get in the middle of the road. You both looked astonishing. My camera couldn’t love you enough that day!!

Those family member that make the event so fantastic, thank you so much. For her only brother that watch them all 3 days session, I could thank Sudin enough. Just make sure we plan for another trip. Lol.

Do enjoy this love soundtrack from Juno movie.

Aishah & Roy – Batu Pahat Wedding Photographer

Happy hump day everyone! I’m leaving you with a sweet little solemnisation session shot, at one of the prettiest little hall I’ve had the pleasure of visiting, with it’s close relative, great food, and everything. All hidden in between the Kampung Kenangan Dato Onn, Batu Pahat so that it’s still nothing but peaceful and serene.

So while I adored shooting their beautiful ceremony, their wedding was an even more special affair of the heart, as it finally put a close to the cords of serendipity, timing, and friendship that intertwined throughout their years love story, and it began a new chapter full of hope, adoration, love, and an even more pronounced praise to God. I’ve known Aishah & Roy from her brother, Sudin who is my travel companion most every destination I been to before. Sudin’s little sister even more sweeter in real life while Roy is steady-happy-all-the-way-of-his-life kinda guy. That what interest me more to document their big day.

There’s just something enchanted about little intimate weddings that just capture my heart. I know weddings and marriage celebrations come in all forms, sizes, and types, but it’s the small ones that involve just the closest of relative and friends that really give way to what makes weddings beautiful – love, joy, intimacy, familiarity, and companionship. Those are the things that truly make photos beautiful and sparkle. Will post another updates on their wedding day later. Have a good day!

Zaki + Aziah – Batu Pahat – Maternity Portraiture

Can you feel their fun personalities in all these photos? It’s exactly how an maternity session should be. Carefree, fun, and youthful. Preparing upcoming new born baby sometimes makes mothers stress. So let’s get out of your bed and have fun! I was estatic when Aziah called me to document their first pregnancy! I love how she just looks like so bright. She is such a goddess!

Pregnancy is such a beautiful thing. This is one of the milestones that I look forward to witnessing after a client’s wedding. Even though I couldn’t document their wedding while I have another assignment, I’m happy to be able to preserve the memories of their maternity. Yes, it’s a girl! I can’t wait to meet the little fellow in a few weeks! You two are going to be such wonderful parents!

Batu Pahat Wedding Photography – Izzah & Redzuan Reception

Just a quick update. Things have been super busy here, so I apologize if you emailed me and haven’t heard back yet. I just got back from SF and catching up on emails. Weddings are so fun. I love how so many friends and family come together to celebrate a couple’s union. It’s a day full of love, happiness, laughter, and tears of joy.
They were married in a harmonic ceremony at Pelican Hotel, Batu Pahat last Saturday. I’m was excited! Family and friends flew in from all over the Malaysia to celebrate with them. Even Izzah’s big boss from Sharp Shah Alam came to wish for their happiness. I still remember meeting their family at Sarina’s wedding last few years. Their plans were just coming together and I got to hear all about their ideas. It’s so cool to see them through the decision making process – what color linens, what color uplights, what kind of flowers, etc. When I see the wedding all come together, it means that much more to me because I saw them through the planning journey. As I anticipate their wedding, I thought it’d be a good time to share a glimpse of their portraiture session.

Everything was so personal and beautiful. Your personalities totally shined throughout the event! I wish you both all the best and look forward to hearing about your future adventures together! Congrats you two on a fun and beautiful wedding!!! Can’t wait to see you through your next journey together!

Batu Pahat Wedding Photography – Izzah & Redzuan

Here’s another really special wedding that I really love to be featured in my blog.  I’m slowly catching up with my blogging! Today, I’d like to share with you the full set of Izzah & Redzuan wedding solemnisation. This wedding was held yesterday at Pelican Hotel, Batu Pahat. Well, they got married and everything was just amazing! I’ve been documenting two of Izzah cousins before this and few of her friends as well. I love her gorgeous dress & decorations by Dedaun Bridal and adorable shoes by Carlo Rino. Her bouquet is so fun & romantic! Their reception setting was so enchanting!  The twinkle lights, the dais, the guest… I’m so thankful for such an intimate wedding ceromony accompanied by close family & bridesmaid. Everyone had an amazing time!  Sometimes during the planning, it’s easy to get lost in the details, but never forget the bigger picture of why you’re getting married.  As you can see, this wedding turned out perfect. I will share some more photos later on from their wedding reception & portraiture.

It’s been a crazy weeks. I have so much to tell you, share with you, and show you!! So many new friends I’ve made, so many new couples and families I’ve met, and so many people I’ve learned from Aini & Faris I’m talking about you!. I am going to dedicate a whole day this week writing all the thoughts that have been floating in this brain of mine. Not sure if they were the most excellent ideas ever, but they were definitely thought provoking for little Foto by Razali.

The wedding was held in Batu Pahat. In the midst of all of this learning and rising, I got to go and photograph the gorgeous Faris and Aini on their wedding. Thank you for being such a beautiful soul.

Then again, I met another group of beautiful girls that makes wedding ceremony the most happening. The Polkadots! If you ever browse my blog from before, I have another group of girls who have been hiring me for 3 of their best friends wedding, The Gurlfriends. I always pleased to see how friends get together like this.

I had such a wonderful time with you both and your joyous family + friends. It felt so special to be the one to be able to capture the memories from your beautiful day. I hope these photos help you remember every second of that most perfect day. Wishing you all the pleasure and love in the world… you both deserve it.

Photography is one of those things that seems like everyone dabbles a bit in and quite a few people nowadays own very high quality digital cameras. In an attempt to save money, there is a new trend among brides of having a friend or family member take their wedding photos. While this may initially sound like a good idea, investing in an experienced wedding photographer should be one of your top priorities.

Your wedding is a once in a lifetime occasion. There are no ‘do-overs’, so you need a professional that you can trust. So much time is invested in finding the venue, choosing the perfect flowers and of course making sure your cake is as lovely as it is tasty. After your wedding is finished and you leave your venue, the flowers have wilted and all that yummy wedding cake has been eaten … how will you remember these things? If you’ve taken the time and money to invest in the perfect wedding photographer, you can rest assured. High quality, bright, beautiful wedding photos will be there to help you remember your day! You’ll have photos of your groom tearing up as he sees you walking down the aisle, a vision, in the perfect dress. You can look back upon how happy your guests were chatting, celebrating your day. Every detail from your shoes, his tux, THE dress and even the jewelry you wore will be well documented so that someday you can show your children.

What if, for arguments sake, you decided to forgo hiring a professional wedding photographer and hired a friend of the family to take your photos. He or she owns a digital camera, loves photography and has even taken photos of a few newborns that look great! Wedding photography cannot be THAT much different, right? Wrong. In wedding photography you generally get what you pay for. Yes, there is a chance that you may love the photos of a family friend, but is saving a few dollars on wedding photography worth the risk that you won’t? Wouldn’t you much rather adjust your budget in other details? Great wedding photography is so much more than just owning a high quality camera. Lenses, flashes, backup equipment in case something goes wrong, not to mention the EXPERIENCE of knowing what to shoot when and how are just a few of the important things that a professional will bring to the table. You wouldn’t let your sister’s boyfriend take your tonsils out even though he loves watching E.R., wanted to go to medical school and knows quite a few people who have done it, would you? Just like anything else in life some things are much too precious to trust to anyone but a professional.

Finding the perfect photographer is the best gift you can give each other on the big day. It sounds cheesy but we tell our clients all the time that wedding photos are your first family heirloom. Make sure when you are making the important decision on whether or not to go with a pro that you consider what you are really paying for … memories.
