Batu Pahat Wedding Photography – Izzah & Redzuan Reception

Just a quick update. Things have been super busy here, so I apologize if you emailed me and haven’t heard back yet. I just got back from SF and catching up on emails. Weddings are so fun. I love how so many friends and family come together to celebrate a couple’s union. It’s a day full of love, happiness, laughter, and tears of joy.
They were married in a harmonic ceremony at Pelican Hotel, Batu Pahat last Saturday. I’m was excited! Family and friends flew in from all over the Malaysia to celebrate with them. Even Izzah’s big boss from Sharp Shah Alam came to wish for their happiness. I still remember meeting their family at Sarina’s wedding last few years. Their plans were just coming together and I got to hear all about their ideas. It’s so cool to see them through the decision making process – what color linens, what color uplights, what kind of flowers, etc. When I see the wedding all come together, it means that much more to me because I saw them through the planning journey. As I anticipate their wedding, I thought it’d be a good time to share a glimpse of their portraiture session.

Everything was so personal and beautiful. Your personalities totally shined throughout the event! I wish you both all the best and look forward to hearing about your future adventures together! Congrats you two on a fun and beautiful wedding!!! Can’t wait to see you through your next journey together!

Harlina & Arif

This wedding is a reminder of why I love what I do so much. I know I say this a lot, but it’s really such an honor being a part of such intimate moments and memories. This was one of the funnest weddings for me personally because I got to see so many happy faces. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you’ll probably recognize many of the happy faces. These two are some of the most genuine people I’ve met, and have the sweetest family.

Harlina was my long time twitter & instagram friend. Their wedding held in Yong Peng, just a few minutes from my place. Honestly, I feel so lucky that I get to visit all these great spots. Without photography, I would most likely never go to the beach or see these gorgeous trails. If you follow my blog & facebook quite often, you might look it love it the photography style with just a glance. And for sure, without photography, I would not get to share in such intimate moments like this with such a beautiful couple.

How cute are they?? I love real laughter:

Til the next adventure!

There is no story to how or why I became a wedding & portraits photographer I’m afraid. But I did, which is the main thing you need to know. And I do it full time. And I love it.

I am a photographer because I fell in love with photography. I’m obsessed with it. It consumes me. I need to take photos of life as it passes us by, and that’s why I feel so lucky to do this for a ‘job’ and to capture people’s extra special occassions and life moments for them. No cliche, it’s true. I hate cliche’s so it must be true.

I have grown up in Ayer Hitam, have lived here my whole life, been to school here, back from college, met my wife here and built my life here. I love this place, I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I’d love to have a place in Batu Pahat and one in Kluang and split my time between these favourite places. BUT I love to travel. If you follow my blog for the last few months, I’ve been to Kedah, Terengganu, Pahang, Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Cameron Highlands & all over Malaysia for wedding & portraits photography.

Set a meeting with me to experience in person how do I look and what I am offering. Email me you details to razali@heroes.my. I would love to hear from you.
