Diba + Amir – Pontian Wedding Photographer

Happy Sunday everyone. Been a while since my last update. If I haven’t replied your email yet, I will sooonnnn.

Meet Diba & Amir. A young lovely couple who decide to tie a knot after 5 weeks of knowing each other. Diba works at Terengganu where she met Amir who live & work there. The get married after few months of their engagement ceremony. The wedding held in a very classic wooden Malay house in Benut, Pontian. Most of their family members who comes to witness their big day are full of joy and happiness.

On the next day, the ceremony held in a huge community hall attended by relatives & friends from all over the places. After the wedding, we went to Wednesday Ditch Farm & Resort Pontian for portraiture session. We choose a horse named Blackie for this session. None of us have experiences handling horse! But still, it was fun to give it a try.

We visited the Malay house again after we finished at Wednesday. The Malay house is actually a home stay, they have like 4 wooden house which can cover up to nearly 100 pax per night i believe.

Congrats to Diba & Amir on a gorgeous wedding. Everything was perfect!

Azizi + Nini – Ayer Hitam Wedding Photography

If you ever come across a cute couple in my blog, you need to look at this one closer. The most adorable couple award I give to them. Azizi & Nini are meant to be together. They are amazingly cute together. So cute that I could not narrow down their wedding photos and will have to post the entire ceremony and drag them to 2 portraiture session. They brought their traditional Malay outfit, Songket, which they customed ordered in Bandung a month before their big day. I love how it fit them very well! And I just love love love this last photo. They remind me of two lovebirds. Weather was great that day that kept me shooting all day long.

Anyway, awesome decoration for Pelamin & Photo booth made by Dedau Bridal. Make up done nicely by Ratu Bridal House.

Wedding Photography Package 2013 - Foto by Razali

For bride to be 2013, enjoy than normal rate of my wedding photography package if you book before November 2012. Get RM200 discount for 2 events booking (Nikah+Sanding). Pick your desire dates and submit an inquiry. www.mohdrazali.com/calendar.

Photography is one of those things that seems like everyone dabbles a bit in and quite a few people nowadays own very high quality digital cameras. In an attempt to save money, there is a new trend among brides of having a friend or family member take their wedding photos. While this may initially sound like a good idea, investing in an experienced wedding photographer should be one of your top priorities.

Your wedding is a once in a lifetime occasion. There are no ‘do-overs’, so you need a professional that you can trust. So much time is invested in finding the venue, choosing the perfect flowers and of course making sure your cake is as lovely as it is tasty. After your wedding is finished and you leave your venue, the flowers have wilted and all that yummy wedding cake has been eaten … how will you remember these things? If you’ve taken the time and money to invest in the perfect wedding photographer, you can rest assured. High quality, bright, beautiful wedding photos will be there to help you remember your day! You’ll have photos of your groom tearing up as he sees you walking down the aisle, a vision, in the perfect dress. You can look back upon how happy your guests were chatting, celebrating your day. Every detail from your shoes, his tux, THE dress and even the jewelry you wore will be well documented so that someday you can show your children.

What if, for arguments sake, you decided to forgo hiring a professional wedding photographer and hired a friend of the family to take your photos. He or she owns a digital camera, loves photography and has even taken photos of a few newborns that look great! Wedding photography cannot be THAT much different, right? Wrong. In wedding photography you generally get what you pay for. Yes, there is a chance that you may love the photos of a family friend, but is saving a few dollars on wedding photography worth the risk that you won’t? Wouldn’t you much rather adjust your budget in other details? Great wedding photography is so much more than just owning a high quality camera. Lenses, flashes, backup equipment in case something goes wrong, not to mention the EXPERIENCE of knowing what to shoot when and how are just a few of the important things that a professional will bring to the table. You wouldn’t let your sister’s boyfriend take your tonsils out even though he loves watching E.R., wanted to go to medical school and knows quite a few people who have done it, would you? Just like anything else in life some things are much too precious to trust to anyone but a professional.

Finding the perfect photographer is the best gift you can give each other on the big day. It sounds cheesy but we tell our clients all the time that wedding photos are your first family heirloom. Make sure when you are making the important decision on whether or not to go with a pro that you consider what you are really paying for … memories.

Ainul & Zamri - foto by razali (1)

I have the sweetest portraiture session to share with you. Ainul & Zam are my great friends from secondary school. I’ve known them since ’98 when I first moved to SMK Datuk Menteri. Ever since that day, we have been real close friend until now. Both of them live just few miles away, just like me and my wife. As far I I remember, Zam & Ainul get close together just a few years ago while our classmate visiting Ainul’s house on Eid. I didn’t know they contacted each other after school, so I believe Zam get close with her long after they met. This is fate. They are world travelers and spent most of their relationship long distance. They would meet up in different parts of the world and kept this journal together. I choose a garden picnic theme for portraiture and they pick classic dress for this session.

Raining season start quite early this year. Normally heavy rain begins at mid November, but this year, you can find the heavy rain almost every day. For those bride to be having their reception on this month until end of December, you have to start planning for options.

I always mention to clients try to avoid public or school holidays as your reception day unless you’re going to do it in a hall or hotel. And for those who like a portraiture session, please set the appointment in the early morning and check weather forecast. It is important to get the right weather & time in order to get great results.

The best time for portraiture is 7am to 10.30pm for morning session and 4pm to late 7pm for evening session. But this time schedule doesn’t apply on November & December since raining falls in unpredictable time. Please keep in mind we as a photographer cannot fight the nature. Yesterday I photograph my great friends pre-wedding in a heavy rain. They dance in the rain, I hide under a canopy. Thats how it works. Fun but very limited composition. You’ll see the result in my next entry.

For those who have visited my blog earlier must noticed the colorful solemnization of Shakina & Sharifuddin. So here I’m glad to show you the wedding day photos of d.i.y wedding blogger Journey of Bride-2-be. She prepared so much for her wedding, all by her self. I believe she is of of bride-to-be reference in Malaysia.

Their wedding reception held in a small and cozy hall near Shakina’s place, Kompleks Dagangan Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang. Her glamourous wedding dress was design by Rumah Kebaya. The purple theme color suit them very well. I love the color theme they choose which makes them outstanding. Make up by Kak Pah, a friend of Kina’s mom from Kuantan was wonderful. She transformed Kina to a very different looking from what I saw the day before. I was so impress with this make up artist which make my photograph looks good. Now I believe in the touch of a good make up artist.

The food serve looks great but I didn’t get the chances to bite. I saw tapai pulut wrap with daun getah which is very unique. Everyone looks very satisfied with the catering. Shakina’s mom & dad always busy with guest coming all the time. Glad he assisted by so many family members. Thought this is their first daughter getting married, ha manage to control this event very well.

We had portraiture session at Sungai Lembing, used to be the deepest tin mines in Malaysia. I have never reached this place in my life before. It looks like a pekan koboi if you know what I mean. I was so amaze. We spent the whole afternoon over there until maghrib. Kina suggested me to try the mee jawa just after we finished the photo session. I was wondering how in the world mee jawa existed in this kind of place, far away from Tanah Jawa. haha. But t tasted really fine, different from what I’ve tasted before.

I was assisted by Mohd Azam who come all over from Dungun to Kuantan. We had a very wonderful photography session with this bride and groom. Well thanks to Shakina & Sharifuddin for choosing me as their wedding photographer.

Dah kritikal. Malam tadi je 2 kali mak kena attack. So harini akan bawa ke emergency room untuk further check up dan Doktor Aizai akan tentukan untuk terus buat operation atau tunggu dulu. Sementara tu mak akan admit di wad IJN untuk berehat.

At the moment I write this, I can hear how hard she try to breath….

Well, anyway this week I bring Shakina & Sharifuddin as featured bride and groom. Majlis pernikahan mereka berlangsung di Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan. I’m excited to meet them ever since the contest ends. So I pay a visit at Shakina’s place to look at her preparations. Most of the decoration was made by her self, a passionate d.i.y blogger.

Cute and simple mini pelamin with very nice decoration accesories. I like the colors that she chooses. Brides room decorate with modern english theme with very neat handcraft. The wallpaper simply turn the room into magical wonderland. Yellow downlight makes the atmostphere warm and cozy.

Tok Kadi’s play his role by not giving the groom nervous. He makes all of them laugh at most of the times. Everyone feel comfortable with him eventhought he looks so fierce at first.

Everythings goes smoothly as their planned. We are so glad that Sharifuddin done the Nikah with only 1 lafaz.

I was accompanied by abang Wira Hidayat from Wira Visual, Ampang. He added more fun into this event by making them laugh. I’m so glad he was there.

So for this is only the solemnization photos. I will update more photos from the reception later. I’ll be in KL for few days to settle my mom’s matters. Well thank you for your visit!
